Abstract—Photovoltaic (PV) system is capable of solving problems of global warming and energy exhaustion due to excess energy utilization. In this paper, a double boost converter for photovoltaic (PV) power generation system is proposed. The topology is used to increase efficiency and to reduce switching losses. The present topology is verified for 289 W prototype.
