Abstract—New technological developments in wind energy design have contributed to the significant
advances in wind energy penetration and to get optimum power from available wind. In this
study, an attempt has been made to analyze and review the development and dissemination of
wind energy in India. The diffusion prospect of wind energy generation in the potential states of
India is also analyzed.
