A NOVEL APPROACH TO REDUCE PAPR IN OFDM SYSTEM USING DHT PRECODNG FOR M-QAM

Abstract—The main challenging issue for OFDM Systems is its high PAPR. In this paper a pre-coding based PAPR reduction technique is proposed using Discrete Hartley Transform (DHT). A comparative analysis is done with the proposed method against Walsh Hadamard Transform (WHT) and Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT), and Selective Mapping Method (SLM). Experimental analysis shows that the proposed method out performs when compared with WHT, SLM and Conventional OFDM Systems.
