Introduction

The fields of computational intelligence, Networks Technologies, and Wireless Communication Systems have grown tremendously over the past few years, and the credit goes to evolving soft computing, artificial intelligent methodologies, machine learning, robotics technology, self-driven vehicles, new medical devices, Internet of Things (IoT), Industry 4.0, tools and techniques for envisaging the essence of intelligence embedded in real-life observations.
As traditional models struggle to cope with complexity, noise, and the existence of a changing environment, while Computational Intelligence, Networks Technologies, and Wireless Communication Systems offer solutions to complicated problems as well as reverse problems.
The Computational Intelligence, Networks Technologies, and Wireless Communication Systems are now not limited to only specific computational, networking, and wireless communication fields, they have made inroads in signal processing, smart manufacturing, predictive control, robot navigation, environment friendly energy systems, smart cities, and sensor design to name a few.
The salient features of Computational Intelligence, Networks Technologies, and Wireless Communication Systems are the adaption of niche technologies such as machine learning, computational neuroscience, drones, new medical devices, Industry 4.0 and environmental friendly energy systems mobile technologies, Reliable Cooperative Networks and Delay Tolerant Networks (DTN).
This special collection aims to present high-quality research papers that report the latest research advances in this field from emerging trends in computational intelligence, networks technologies, and Wireless Communication Systems.
